[vinnomot] Re: [baainews] FW: Its my pleasure

Mr. Guha,

Many thanks for your reply (at last you replied my question). You did not mention the role of Sheikh Mujib's Government regarding this Enemy Property Act. Good to know that, your favourite Awami League repelled this act.

My understanding is that Awami League  using Hindu vote as reserve vote like Indian Muslims used to vote for Congress. But Indian Muslims switched their support to other parties even some of them vote for BJP. But In Bangladesh we donot see that change. People used to say that even Goyesshar votes for Nouka(although it is not true I believe) but most people believe that. My personal opinion is  that :Hindu support for Awami League should not be 'unconditional' as it is until now.

As you thoght, I am not a believer of Jamati politics you guys always call opponents of Awami policies  as BNP/Jamat, that's not true. Rather they could be  called independent.

Regarding corruption I can say it is not  the monopoly of Islamic nations. Corruption is everywhere even in the United States. I do strongly believe that India is the most corrupt country on Earth not Bangladesh.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For information:

AL government repelled Enemy property Act on April 11, 2001 (Act 16 of 2001). In July they left the government.  BNP/Jamaat came to power in Oct 2001. On 26th Nov 2002 they passed a bill named 'Restoration of Vested Property Act 2001'.  And the law came into force again. (It is said that the repelled would not help the Hindus but at least no land can be taken anymore! In 2002-2006 1lakh acres more minority land was grabbed by Muslims like Mr. Mohiuddin).

Next question:

Why Hindus support AL? Answer is simple: Between AL & BNP, Hindus have to choose one. Hindus choose AL. Why?

BNP's manifesto is Islamic, which Hindus have no reason to accept.  BNP is full of communal people. BNP & Jamaat is almost same.  Hindus or other minorities can't support any party with an Islamic agenda.

AL at least talk about secularism. Its leadership is not that communal alike BNP. Surely, AL also has bad elements, but Hindus can at least live with them.

There are people like Mr. Mohiuddin both in AL & BNP who does all the evil in the name of Islam, using Islam, but in AL it is much less than BNP.  AL is a bit safer than BNP. Does Hindus have any other alternative?

One more thing, did you noticed that, the more Bangladesh becoming Islamic, the more is the corruption? Look at Pakistan! All corrupt people take shelter of religion, all Islamic countries are corrupted, either this way or that way.

Hope you got the answer!!
