[vinnomot] The World's Top 20 Public Intellectuals (Top 10 winners all Muslim)

---------- Forwarded Message ----------

http://muslims-news.blogspot.com/2008/06/worlds-top-20-public-intellectuals.html

The World's Top 20 Public Intellectuals Rankings are an inherently dangerous business. Whether offering a hierarchy of countries, cities, or colleges, any such list-at least any such list worth compiling-is likely to generate a fair amount of debate. In the last issue, when we asked readers to vote for their picks of the world's top public intellectuals, we imagined many people would want to make their opinions known. But no one expected the avalanche of voters who came forward. During nearly four weeks of voting, more than 500,000 people came to ForeignPolicy.com to cast ballots. Such an outpouring reveals something unique about the power of the men and women we chose to rank. They were included on our initial list of 100 in large part because of the influence of their ideas. But part of being a "public intellectual" is also having a talent for communicating with a wide and diverse public. This skill is certainly an asset for some who find themselves in the list's top ranks. For example, a number of intellectuals-including Aitzaz Ahsan, Noam Chomsky, Michael Ignatieff, and Amr Khaled-mounted voting drives by promoting the list on their Web sites. Others issued press releases or gave interviews to local newspapers. Press coverage profiling these intellectuals appeared around the world, with stories running in Canada, India, Indonesia, Qatar, Spain, and elsewhere. 1. FETHULLAH GÜLEN Religious leader * Turkey An Islamic scholar with a global network of millions of followers, Gülen is both revered and reviled in his native Turkey. To members of the Gülen movement, he is an inspirational leader who encourages a life guided by moderate Islamic principles. To his detractors, he represents a threat to Turkey's secular order. He has kept a relatively low profile since settling in the United States in 1999, having fled Turkey after being accused of undermining secularism. 2. MUHAMMAD YUNUS Microfinancier, activist * Bangladesh More than 30 years ago, Yunus loaned several dozen poor entrepreneurs in his native Bangladesh a total of $27. It was the beginning of a lifetime devoted to fighting poverty through microfinance, efforts that earned him a Nobel Peace Prize in 2006. Over the years, his Grameen Bank, now operating in more than 100 countries, has loaned nearly $7 billion in small sums to more than 7 million borrowers-97 percent of them women. Ninety-eight percent of the loans have been repaid. 3. YUSUF AL-QARADAWI Cleric * Egypt/Qatar The host of the popular Sharia and Life TV program on Al Jazeera, Qaradawi issues w .eekly fatwas on everything from whether Islam forbids all consumption of alcohol (no) to whether fighting U.S. troops in Iraq is a legitimate form of resistance (yes). Considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Qaradawi condemned the September 11 attacks, but his pronouncements since, like his justification of suicide attacks, ensure his divisive reputation. 4. ORHAN PAMUK Novelist * Turkey Part political pundit, part literary celebrity, Pamuk is the foremost chronicler of Turkey's difficult dance between East and West. His skillfully crafted works lay bare his native country's thorny relationship with religion, democracy, and modernity, earning him a Nobel Prize in literature in 2006. Three years ago, Pamuk was put on trial for "insulting Turkish identity" after mentioning the Armenian genocide and the plight of Turkey's Kurds in an interview. The charges were later dropped. Today, Pamuk teaches literature at Columbia University. 5. AITZAZ AHSAN Lawyer, politician * Pakistan President of Pakistan's Supreme Court Bar Association, Ahsan has been a vocal opponent of President Pervez Musharraf's rule. When Musharraf dismissed the head of the Supreme Court in March 2007, it was Ahsan who led the legal challenge to reinstate the chief justice and rallied thousands of lawyers who took to the streets in protest. He was arrested several times during the period of emergency rule last year. Today, he is a senior member of the Pakistan Peoples Party, formerly led by Benazir Bhutto, and one of the country's most recognizable politicians. 6. AMR KHALED Muslim televangelist * Egypt A former accountant turned rock-star evangelist, Khaled preaches a folksy interpretation of modern Islam to millions of loyal viewers around the world. With a charismatic oratory and casual style, Khaled blends messages of cultural integration and hard work with lessons on how to live a purpose-driven Islamic life. Although Khaled got his start in Egypt, he recently moved to Britain to counsel young, second-generation European Muslims. 7. ABDOLKARIM SOROUSH Religious theorist * Iran Soroush, a former university professor in Tehran and specialist in chemistry, Sufi poetry, and history, is widely considered one of the world's premier Islamic philosophers. Having fallen afoul of the mullahs thanks to his work with Iran's democratic activists, he has lately decamped to Europe and the United States, where his essays and lectures on religious philosophy and human rights are followed closely by Iran's reformist movement. 8. TARIQ RAMADAN Philosopher, scholar of Islam * Switzerland One of the most well-known and controversial Muslim scholars today, Ramadan embodies the cultural and religious clash he claims to be trying to bridge. His supporters consider him a passionate advocate for Muslim integration in Europe. His critics accuse him of anti-Semitism and having links to terrorists. In 2004, Ramadan was denied a U.S. visa to teach at Notre Dame, after the State Department accused him of donating to Islamic charities linked to Hamas. 9. MAHMOOD MAMDANI Cultural anthropologist * Uganda Born in Uganda to South Asian parents, Mamdani was expelled from the country by Idi Amin in 1972, eventually settling in the United States. His work explores the role of citizenship, identity, and the creation of historical narratives in postcolonial Africa. More recently, he has focused his attention on political Islam and U.S. foreign policy, arguing that modern Islamist terrorism is a byproduct of the privatization of violence in the final years of the Cold War. He teaches at Columbia University. 10. SHIRIN EBADI Lawyer, human rights activist * Iran Iran's first female judge under the shah, Ebadi founded a pioneering law practice after she was thrown off the bench by Iran's clerical rulers. Having initially supported the Islamic Revolution, she cut her teeth defending political dissidents and campaigning for the rights of women and children. A fierce nationalist who sees no incompatibility between Islam and democracy, Ebadi became the first Iranian to win the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003. 11. NOAM CHOMSKY Linguist, activist * United States Chomsky is perhaps best known for his scathing criticisms of U.S. foreign policy extending back to the Vietnam War. An outspoken activist, a lively debater, and an icon of the international left, Chomsky rarely shies away from assailing American power and venerating those he deems the world's oppressed. The failures of American mass media and the greed of big business are also frequent targets of his critiques. Beyond his political provocations, Chomsky's contributions to modern linguistics are immense, particularly his theory of generative grammar. The bestselling author of more than 30 books, Chomsky has taught at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for more than half a century. 12. AL GORE Climate change activist, politician * United States From the dejection of losing the 2000 U.S. presidential election, Gore has come to define political renaissance-and vindication-in the years since. For his second act, Gore found his true voice in raising public awareness of the effects of global warming. His efforts have earned him an impressive list of titles-Oscar winner and Nobel Peace Prize recipient among them-and acclaim as perhaps today's most influential environmental crusader. 13. BERNARD LEWIS Historian * Britain/United States Professor emeritus at Princeton University and the author of dozens of books, Lewis is one of the foremost historians of the Middle East. He is also one of the most sought-after advisors on the region's politics and on Islamic society. Lewis's works have recently focused on the source of antagonism between Islam and the West, a conflict he attributes to Islam's failure to adapt to modernity. 14. UMBERTO ECO Novelist, semiologist * Italy Renowned for intricate, richly written novels that blend obscure historical events with complex plots and symbols, Eco is easily one of the world's most scholarly writers of fiction. His day job, professor of semiotics at the University of Bologna, provides him ample material for his bestselling books, which have been described as encyclopedic in their historical breadth. 15. AYAAN HIRSI ALI Activist, politician * Somalia/Netherlands A fierce critic of Islam's treatment of women, the Somalia-born Hirsi Ali is known for her full-throated defense of the West, reason, and freedom. Her public rebellion against her Islamic upbringing has come with a steep cost: death threats and around-the-clock protection. She first received notoriety for penning Submission, a film renouncing the subjugation of Muslim women. (The film's director, Theo van Gogh, was murdered by a Muslim fanatic in Amsterdam in 2004.) After being elected to the Dutch parliament in 2003, Hirsi Ali resigned her post three years later over a scandal involving false information on her citizenship application. 16. AMARTYA SEN Development economist * India As a young boy, Sen witnessed the devastating 1943 Bengal famine, which killed nearly 3 million people. Decades later, Sen's investigations of the political and economic underpinnings of famines established him as the premier welfare economist of the 20th century. In addition to his famous assertion that famines do not occur in democracies, Sen was one of the first economists to empirically examine gender disparities in Asia. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in economics in 1998. 17. FAREED ZAKARIA Journalist, author * United States Editor of Newsweek International, Zakaria is one of the most influential and respected commentators on international affairs. His article "Why Do They Hate Us?" a Newsweek cover story in the weeks after the September 11 attacks, upended the conventional explanations of the day for a nuanced discussion of the economic, political, and social forces pulling Islamic societies apart. 18. GARRY KASPAROV Democracy activist, chess grandmaster * Russia One of the greatest chess players of all time, Kasparov is today a leading opposition figure in Russia, critical of Vladimir Putin's tenure and the election of his successor, Dmitry Medvedev. Agitating against what he calls a "police state," Kasparov heads the anti-Kremlin coalition The Other Russia, which frequently stages pro-democracy protests. He recently launched an "alternative parliament" in a bid to unite the country's opposition. 19. RICHARD DAWKINS Biologist, author * Britain One of the world's preeminent evolutionary biologists, Dawkins established an international reputation with his 1976 work, The Selfish Gene, which holds that genes compete to propagate. He possesses a renowned ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific ideas to the wider public. He is perhaps best known today for his criticism of creationism and religion. An avowed atheist, his most recent bestselling work, The God Delusion, is a vigorous defense of science and reason. 20. MARIO VARGAS LLOSA Novelist, politician * Peru A giant of Latin American literature, Vargas Llosa has written dozens of works of fiction, drama, and literary criticism in his decades-long career. He is a firm believer in literature's power to expose the injustice and tyranny of dictatorships, while providing moving defenses of free speech and individual liberty. He writes frequently on political issues in widely published columns.

[vinnomot] Re: [mukto-mona] A tribute to Sam Manekshaw

I have no problem to pay my tribute to anyone that helped to free my country from the clasps of heinous Pakistan forces and their collaborators Razakar/Al-Badar and Jamaati.

I have no problem to pay my tribute to anyone that helped to free my country from the clasps of heinous Pakistan forces and their collaborators Razakar/Al-Badar and Jamaati.

But Mr. Mohiuddin, your hatred toward India the home of one of the largest Muslim congregation is not going to take you anywhere. Otherwise why you raise the question of paying homage to a General who died in June 6th or 7th of 1984. You waited almost 24 years to show your blackened heart felled with hatred. People paying tribute to Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw who defeated your loving Pakistan army may break your heart but that is the reality. Bringing other stories which has no relation to this identifies you who you are.

By the way you even did not named the General right, his name was General Shabeg Singh. The General died during operation Blue Star which took place on the night of 5-6 June 1984. And just for your information the Major-General Brar who led the operation Blue Star, Lt-General Ranjit Singh Dayal who made the attack plan and the President who signed the order all were from Sikh religion. Another irony of this death was the Major-General Brar commander of operation Blue Star and the General Shabeg Singh both fought for the war of independence of Bangladesh.

Thanks

Shamim

Golam,

Why Bangladesh Rifle is called BDR, why not BR?

LLB is used for - Bachelor of Laws why not BL?

Why PhD is used for - Doctor of Philosophy, why not DP?

Why ASEAN stands for Association of Southeast Asian Nations, why not ASAN?

Why EMU stands for Electromagnetic Unit from last century? Why not EU?

USA is used for Army of United States of America?  why not AUSA or USAA?

Why we use LLDC for Least Developed Country? Why not LDC?

Why BOCA is used for Building Officials & Code Administration International? Why not BOCAI?

I can quote hundreds of such examples!

So, abbreviations or acronymes do not always follow the same or any particular 'hard & fast' or specific  rule or practice.

Read the English news paper of Dhaka and see what they write for Bangladesh Awami League?

It depends on taste, educational - family - political background - belief & support of person concerned.

Jamat - RAZAKAR - Paki supporters always like filthy words very much; they are fond of dirty verbal words, languagesl!

See the very common languages of Paki, most of the time they  use - word  "Ba...…ut"!

So all these Jamat-RAZAKAR- Paki supporters like filthy words - like their GURU, USTADs!

 of the individiual

So, think more before ink

So far as I know the abbraviation as follows:

BNP=Bangladesh National Party (Should I call it as NP?)

BAL=Bangladesh Awami League (you suggested me to call as AL). Are you suggesting to   remove B from this party name?

JP=Jatio Party(There is no B in this at all)

JIB=Jamate Islami Bangladesh(Should I call it as JI or IB).

Please reply.

I appreciate your response on this correction. Also, if you call it as AL, can you request

Bangladesh Awami League to remove Bangladesh from this party name? I am really confused.

Mr. Golam Ahmed,

Should I congratulate you for joining one of the groups?  So long you refered to Awami League as AL.  But for the first time you have written BAL in your mail.  Good improvement indeed!

Not only that. BAL made a secret deal with CTG that they will talk/sought against this CTG from home and abroad and at the same time they'll participate in all election. (for example, you'll recognize by this time,  though they are talking against the city/pouro election their voice is not that much up so far). They are watching now carefully and doing all those things. Another example you will observe from Shaikh Hasina's tone/somabesh from Florida(Published in the Daily Inqilab on 26th June, today). They don't want BNP to participate in this election because they know the outcome if they do something like that.

Another example: Why Joy became silent after he met Gen Muyeen one year ago in the US? Joy knew from then and he kept himself silent. Now he got the result of becoming silent.

Once they are elected, they will authorize all the works done by this CTG. This CTG has to be sided to one of the big parties in BD. Otherwise they cannot save their backbone once BNP or BAL come in power. Thats why they are sided with BAL now.

Just wait and see their motive you will see all those.

Yes......... .in 1986 Hasina said "Whom ever take part in the election under Ershad's govt. would be called the National Trator". But less than 24 hours She & her BAL turned U, which they took part in 1986 JS election.

So in Bangladesh who else can perform a better political drama than SHEIKH HASINA?

Thank You All,

Dear Joy Vai,

Thanks for your nice input and I am sorry for the late reply.

I got many (personal) comments - replies from many folks, most of them approving my comments and very few are not, but out of those 3 are very interesting, logical and sensible and your one is one of them.

So, though my exams are going on (but I got 2 day off from my office), still, I am giving reply to you and seeking apology (for not giving reply, but on BCC) to all of them (both admiring one & opposing) for some of my personal business (you also know that).

I am agreeing with you on most points. But not on every one of.

As for example,

I was not at all happy with the process (by present ABCG) of release of Sheikh Hasina.

I do not know why present government has given U-turn or become so flexible!

The reasons may be:

  • Allegations against are base less or not strong enough to punish Sheikh Hasina (false or impartial punishment will make her more popular, as dictator Ayub Khan made to Bangabandhu)
  • Plaintiff have also said that he did not accused Sheikh Hasina
  • Judge of the special court also said that she is "SHOLO ANA" (100%) innocent

And day by day more facts are coming out, viz,

  • It is not possible to carry 3 core taka notes in a briefcase or in a standard size suit case.
  • Even if Prime Minister allows a big box to get in to "Gana Vabon", still SSF will check that briefcase or suit case and its contents. But SSF has no such records
  • The organisation which gave 3 core taka donations to Bangabandhu Memorial Trust, same organisation also gave 7 core donations to "Shena Kollan Songstha" of BD Army. So in one instance it is crime and other instance it is not!
  • And many more inconsistencies are there and disclosing - on every day during the process & questionnaire in the court
  • Even plaintiff can not proper or correct answers to the question related to their case, govt pleader have to (illegally) tell the answer to the plaintiff!

So, the present ABCG has bow down to the demand of the Awami League.

Now to make "balance" (or for gratefulness to BNP), they are giving release to Khaleda - Tarek - Koko !

Then why not Babar, Falu, Mamun, BN Huda, Pintu, Abbas, Laltu, Baltu, Pintu, Lalu, Aman ? ? ? ??

Joy vai, when we used to exchange (big size) emails in past, you know that I have never wrote or told that Awami League or its all leaders are 100 % clean, honest, corruption free . Not even 90%.

But all the other parties (which have ruled our country) are much less better than Awami League - may be 50% or even less!

Yes, it is my personal opinion, observation - based on facts, authentic books, political columns, articles and news paper report etc

In my opinion 70% to 80% of top and main leaders of Awami League are honest (again they may not be 100% honest, may be 95%, may be 80%). I am quoting and saying all these from my experience and active involvement with this party and its leaders.

I know 99% top leaders - supporters of the organisation of Awami League supporting graduate Engineers, Bangabandhu Prokousholi Porishad.

Similarly I know most of the top ex Bangladesh Chatra League (BCL) leaders, since 1970 (I was member of BCL since 1969 and General Secretary of BCL of Intermediate Technical College, Dhaka in 1970, AGS of Dhaka College BCL unit in 1974, President and General Secretary of BCL BUET unit during 1977 - 78, 78-79-80, Assistant General secretary of "Jatio Karjokori Songsod" (Central Committee) of Bangladesh Chatra League BCL, when Obaidul Kader vai was president and Bahlul Majnun Chunnu Vai was General Secretary, 1979-1981. Dr. Mostafa Jalal Mohiuddin, Sultan Mohd Mansur, J K Nanak, K K.M Jahangir - all we were in same committee.

I feel proud that I addressed a gathering at historical BOT TOLA of Dhaka University during 1970, along with top 4 student leaders of Bangladesh at that time M/S Nur e Alam Siddiqui vai (most brilliant student leader ever I have seen), late A Kuddus Makhan vai, A S M Rob Vai, Shajahan Siraj. I have worked with Sheikh Shahid - Rashid panel (1973 - 1974) and then Monirul Haq Choudhury - Prodhan vai panel (1974 - 1975) of BCL too.

I had the chance to see and know many other political - business leaders of 3 top political parties (as they are involved with Abahoni) as I was founder President of the Abahoni Samorthak Gostee.

I know some back ground of many political-social wealthy people of our society when I worked in PWD

You may know or seen some postings of AL, BPP, ex BCL leaders who sometime participate in these blogs. Like Dr. Jamir Choudhury (GS of CUCSU, Ctg University), Engr. Asoke Bose VP of Ahan Ullah Hall of BUET & member of EUCSU, Dr Engr Gholam Mostafa (Gneral Secretary of Bangabandhu Prokoushali Parishad , BPP), Engr Asad (now Sr. DS, BD govt), Dr. Pradeep Ranjan Kar (GS of BAUCSU, Agricultur University), Dr. Jalil (VP of JSCU, Jahangir Nagar), Dr. Milton (leader of Dhaa Medical College), Engr Arif VP of Dhaka Intermediate Technical College, Engr. Akhter of BUET BCL, Mr. Sharif, President of DU BCL,  Engr Jahangir VP of Nazrul Isalm Hall BUET & member of EUCSU, Engr. Dr. Hasan vai (2 times elected VP of BUET) and many others

Lastly I have closely seen  a circle of some honest personalities in my family, close relatives and friends groups. They were my idols and  I pay respect to them vaery much. Some of my very close relatives, who are very honest (wrt to Bangladesh context) and I got lesson & training from them. I am proud of them too, Alhamdulillah.

My 2nd Maternal uncle (Graduate engineer of 1957) was Chairman of Mongla Port Authority, Khulna (he was not offered the post of Chairman of the Chittagong Port Authority, though he worked there since 1963 (as Executive Engineer) up to 1989 (as Chief Engineer then Member Engineer), but he has no house in Dhaka or any other place. He stays in a rented house in Dhaka after his retirement. My 3rd maternal uncle was Managing Director of three public bank (BKB, HBFC, KB), he owns only one unit of a shared building, which he build in phases by taking loan from bank as a staff, which was submerged in 1988 flood. My 4th Uncle was Chief Engineer (Graduate engineer of BUET in 1963) then Managing Director of "Kollan Trust" of Bangladesh Railway and he has also no property in Dhaka or else where in Bangladesh. My 5th maternal uncle was also Engineer (of BUET in 1965) in T & T then left that lubricant job and worked overseas (Middle East) for about 20 years. My 6th uncle is a CA and he leads a simple life. My 7th maternal uncle is an MBBS and worked in Middle East for about 22 years. My 8th maternal uncle is also a graduate engineer and now works in Australian Defence department.

My father was Principal Scientific Officer in Bangladesh Jute Research Institute, Dhaka, Sher - Bangla Nagar and he was a very honest man too. He never ride in my PWD vehicle (as a protest and to give me a lesson, he know that I am not officially entitled to use that on personal use, I made only this (improper use of govt vehicle) crime in my whole service life).

My mother was an idle, religiously very pious woman who was a very exceptional mother, guide, teacher and friend too.

Alhamdulillah, we three brothers are also graduate engineer (one of them was a BUET Blue) and are doing well. My only brother in law is also a graduate engineer (my only sister, who died last year, was a 1st Class master degree holder in Mathematics) .

By the grace of Almighty Allah my two sons are also studying engineering in the University of Auckland.

My parents, relatives have shown, guided & trained us how to lead the simple, honest but peace full life.

So, I know what the honesty is and how tough to achieve and maintain it!

So, Joy vai, no more today and not more in near future too!

I will catch you later, after my exams.

i am sure, you are happy to see al president is released and sent for treatment abroad.  please dont be unhappy on govt's similar actions on other persons.

when all the supporters of al and bnp would celebrate these releases, be sure, many, including me, would consider it a strategic defeat, not only for the ctg, but also for all the democracy loving people of this country.

i will request you (and all) to keep your sense of patriotism (love for your country) above your love for a particular political party.  i remember, mrs. amanullah aman, a cancer patient, was dealth with pretty ruthlessly when she alongwith her husband was undergoing trial..  shall i be very wrong if i say, she too deserved similar (or better) treatment???  we all know, there are many more persons in the prison, made of same flesh and blood, called human being, legitimate bangladeshi citizens, who need far more urgent treatment.  let's be humane first.

Bravo!   Bravo!   Bravo!
Our  army  backed  caretaker  government

If Tarek – Koko – Khaleda - Nizami gong are released from the custody – than no need keeping anyone in the jail or custody of Bangladesh.

Is there was any crime which were not committed (directly and indirectly) by these gongs during their tenure of 2001 – 2006?

  • They looted - stolen cores of taka of people of Bangladesh
  • They took thousands of acres of govt owned land
  • They transferred cores of taka to overseas (even when this CA Mr. Fakruddin was Governor of Bangladesh Bank)
  • They killed, injured political leaders - MPs (from topmost level, like Ex Minister & current MP ASMS Kibria, ex MP Mrs. Ivy Rahman, current MP Ahsanullah Master, ex MP Momtazuddin, Manjurul Imam etc to the grass root level workers - supporters of opposition political parties, even person (in Bogura) reading Quran in the mosque)
  • They gave safe shelter to killers in exchange of cores of taka (Basundhora)
  • They killed, insulted their own party leaders - supporters - sympathisers (like Prof Aftab of DU, Jamal Uddin of Chittagong, Badruddoza Choudhury, Mahi Choudhury, Maj Mannan)
  • They tried to cleansing the religious minority group (killed hundreds of non Muslim, including Principal Binod Bihari, Buddhist spiritual leader)
  • They created thousands of "god fathers"
  • They gave 'mega size' (more than 62) corrupt minister
  • They polluted & destroyed the PSC
  • They polluted & destroyed judicial system
  • They polluted & destroyed the educational system
  • They polluted & destroyed the Administration - Bureaucracy
  • They polluted & destroyed the Election Commission (cores of false voter)
  • They polluted & destroyed the Army - Police and other law enforcing system

They  had  polluted  &  destroyed  every  thing of  Bangladesh

To find their huge number of crimes – no need of the high power electronic microscope or "intensive investigation" !

Only need a fair, unbiased normal mind. So, no need of carry out any "intensive investigation" with "high power electronic microscope"!

If you go through the "un protested" newspapers reports (also in abroad) on the corruptions published during the tenure of the notorious Jamat-BNP tenure of 2001 – 2006 (and also after that, till now) including the newspapers sympathised or loyal to them including like, the Prothom Alo, the Amader Shomoy, the Jugantor, the Daily Star, the Inkilab, the Amar Desh, the Manabzamin, the Nayadiganta, . Leave the neutral & sincere newspaper like the Sangbad, the Janakantha, the Shamokal, the Ittefaq and other news paper like the Bhorer Kagoj, Ajkerkagoj (now closed) etc etc. (I can quote hundreds of such news paper report).

That is why Bangladesh was "champion" in corruption out of 5 terms 4 terms of Jamat-BNP era (and one time in Awami League era)!

Now these culprits are getting released from the custody by this ABCG!

Bravo!  Bravo!  Bravo!  Our army backed caretaker government

Really SELUKAS!

Our present neutral army backed caretaker government is really strange! SELUKAS!
