The Anti-Corruption Commission on Monday appealed to a Dhaka Court seeking to exempt the former food minister Matia Chowdhury and eight others from corruption charges in a 2002 case. Matia has demonstrated that she is a true politician and a pro-people leader. Heartiest congratulations, Matia Chowdhury!

Kamal Hossain's comment
First of all, I would like to thank Dr Kamal Hossain for his honest comment about our highly corrupt politicians. I also read Hasina's comments in your daily where she said that she would not retire from politics and her party would not participate in election without her. A real politician who loves her country cannot make such comments. Her utterances about Dr Kamal Hossain once again crossed the level of political etiquette, minimum decency and civility.
