Gen. Monju was close person to Ziaur Rahman just like Mustaq to Sheikh Mujib. But Monju was angry not giving him the post of Army Chief. RAW has capitalize on this & they made the blue print how to kill Zia. According to the history Ershad was benificery, which perhaps he had the idea of something is wrong. But he did not do the proper attempt to save Zia. Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury has mentioned that Ershad is an ISI person. His high ambitious target made him not to save Zia, which he let the RAW plan to happen. Though there is something good tasks of Ershad but still his bad chapters are too much. Even he hardly keeps his words.  India want that people of Bangladesh go war against our patriot Army;
 
 
Indira Gandhi was the master mind to kill Zia. Obviously India was angry on him for that our Bangladesh hot relation with China & Saudi Arab. But all mighty Allah has done the justice by the assasination of Indira back in 1984. People of Bangladesh got its better sovereignty than Mujib's period(1972-75) by the patriotic works of Zia.

But very strange,  Khaleda Zia never tried or asked or demanded - even did not show any interest to make the proper trial of his husband's brutal killing!
Something  is  behind   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Khaleda Zia's reluctance for the trial of her husband's killers questioned .

Retired Army officers have blamed the then Chief of ary General H. M. Ershad for Killing of
General Ziaur Rahman and hanging of Freedom fighter Army officers. This announced by these officers at the
27th anniversary function to commemorate  the hanging of 13 military using court martial. [ATN Bangla News.]
 
At the function Syed Muhammad Ibrahim said that Ershad was involved in the hanging of 13 officers.
He also questioned why Khaleda Zia is reluctant and does not demand the trial for her husband's murder.
 
Another retired officer Rezaul Karim mentioned that the possible witness for the Zia killing  incident were
killed using various tricks.
In this function former Army Chief  Lt. Gen. (retd.) Harun-ur Rashid demanded the trial of the war criminals.
