People who have read Farhad Mazhar's column " Jago! kew ki jege acho" regarding the direction Bangladesh might be heading to, the above feature makes lots of sense.
Readers who are regular surfers in numerous BD forums, are quite aware of this special charecter named Salauddin Soib Chowdhury, the owner-editor of Weekly Blitz. And it is not secret to them that this man has been engaged in subversed activities against Bangladesh, from a long time.
It should be noted that, notorious Islamophoebics along with Pro Hinduvta Indians are the main patrons of that weeky.
It has proved again that, with proper backup by the unipolar superpower, henious crimes like treason can be avoided. If Atikullah Khan Masud, the editor of Daily Janakantha was not spared because of corrution charges, one must wonder why the pretext of freedom of expression should be used on behalf of Mr SSC to save him from been charged?
We might talk big and become emotionaly supercharged about our glorious liberation war, but when it comes to play the role of a patriot, we fail miserably. No wonder people like SSC dares to reside in Bangladesh yet manage to propagate against her.
Atleast we can make a big change by boycotting such hate publication. At the same time we can write a united petition to different BD forums to boycott his publications as well.
