I think this is funny if we say a religion gave birth of some great scientists! Albert Einstein's researches were not parts of religion or even not influenced by his religion. Yes, they have history of struggles and at the same time they have dark history of manipulating their own religion and history of them and others as well. Giving up a religion is personal matter and it should always be judged by someone's intention, isn't stupidity.
