Mr. Javed,

If Pakistanis accepted the verdict of 1970 election and handed over power to majority party leader Sheikh Mujibor Rahman, Pakistan could have saved and be stronger today.Unfortunately, Pakistanis(west) not only refused to accept the legitimate demand of the majority Pakistanis, relied on 'gunpower' and fake support from superpower USA to suppress the majority rule. As a result they lost the war, lost east Pakistan and surrendered to mostly Hindu Indian Army without any precondition.That was a 'punishment' from Allah Rabbul Alamin, until now Pakistan did not officially apologise to their Bangladeshi brothers for genocide and injustice during Bangladesh war of indpendence.

Z.A. Bhutto was primerily responsible for the birth of Independence movement in Bangladesh and He pressured military ruler Prersident Gen Yahya to take military action against the majority people of than Pakistan without realizing the consequences of this murderous action from the freedom loving Bangalis.

History will never forgive the action of Pakistanis during Bangladesh's Independece war. Bangladesh became independence in only 9 months war of liberation a record time for any Independence movemnt in modern World, but their sacrifice was enormous (millions). Palestinis, Kashmiris, Chechens and others fighting for their indepence for more than half century without any success so far. We Bangladeshis should be grateful to Almighty Allah for this glorious achievemnt.
