India is not a fool like the Russians, Britons and Americans to shed their blood cheaply in Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. They knew Afghanistan better than others. Afghan soil never accepted foreign military presence permanently. If the Indian military planners considers deplying hundreds of thousands Indian troopsc to repalce western forces in Islamic Afghanistan they are lioving in a fools paradise and they can't do it now. They deplyed half a million military in muslim majority Kashmi. to keep Indian occupied Kashmir in India.They need more military presence in other Indian states like Assam.Indo-Chinese border, as well as LOC between India and Pakistan. By deploying Indian troops in Afghanistan they cannot punish their arch enemy Pakistan in any way. Pakistan's milllion strong Army plus its superior nuclear capability is the best deterrent for India.
