| Over the last few weeks a range of human rights organisations have been able to document with video cameras abuses against Palestinians in the Occupied Palestinian Territories. A month or so back, BTselem released video of settlers in the South Hebron Hills attacking Palestinian farmers, while the ISM shot film a few weeks ago in the same area documenting a Palestinian man bound to a pole and beaten by settlers. Two weeks ago when the village of Nl'in was placed under a four day military siege by the Israeli army, a 14 year old village girl captured footage from her home of an Israeli soldier aiming point blank at a bound and blindfolded Palestinian man. The film (link below) later was passed on to the activists in the ISM who currently have a permanent presence in the village of Ni'lin. The ISM released the film to B'Tselem, who along with the ISM made the video available to the media. http://youtube. |
