Other freedom fighters then joined their fellow freedom fighter and manhandled & gave DHOLAI to Jamat- Shibir - RAZAKAR Kamruzzaman, The freedom fighters chased him and shouted to Jamat- Shibir - RAZAKAR Kamruzzaman "DHOR DHOR, RAZAKAR KE DHOR", 'grab the war criminal'. RAZAKAR-Shibir Kamruzzaman defended him saying that, "I was mere an college student during the Liberation War. They attacked me for my active role in politics." RAZAKAR also said that, "their attitude is not acceptable".
The programme organisers later save him into protected VIP lounge. The programme was delayed because of the incident. Dhaka University teacher Mahbub Ullah, another guest invited to the programme and sat beside RAZAKAR Kamruzzaman.
