I was amused to read in the letter about the
writers concern about Shia domination of the Islamic
world. Does he know that till 1835 the offical
language of India was Farsi? Most of the muslim
countries connected by land with Iran and located east
of Iran has Iranian influence for centuries but that
did not create any rift between shia or sunni. This
shia sunni issue surfaced only after US occupied Iraq.
They are trying t divide the Muslim world in to Shia
and sunni camps.
Another point that the writer did not mention that the
America's spoilt brat of middle east Israel has
nuclear bomb. How is the world safe with Israel having
the bomb. No reason given as to why the world will be
unsafe if Iran has the bomb. Only country that will be
concerned if Iran has the bomb is US guardian Israel.
