Pro Jamat ISLAMI CHATRA SHIBIR activists are getting DHOLAI (beating) through out Bangladesh.
In some places, their so called "family member", BNP & Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) is also actively participating with Pro Awami League Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in DHOLAI (beating) of Pro Jamat ISLAMI CHATRA SHIBIR.
Again general students & other student organisation of DU have given DHOLAI to Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS, SHIBIR Jamaat's student wing) activist. Several student organisations of Dhaka University (DU) have forged unity against the student bodies of religion-based political parties.
Witnesses said the brief clash took place at around 11:30am after some five activists of the Islami Chhatra Shibir came to Modhu's Canteen to circulate leaflets. The leaders and activists of other student organisations, including Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU), Samajtantrik Chhatra Front (SCF), JSD-backed Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) and Bangladesh Chhatra Maitree forced them out of the canteen. Later, a reinforced group of Islami Chhatra Shibir workers returned to Modhu's canteen but ran away soon after the clash erupted. Activists of Awami League-backed Bangladesh Chhatra League also joined the clash and chased the Islami Chhatra Shibir workers & activist. Khalid Rahman Mintu, a third-year student and Mainul, reportedly an Islami Chhatra Shibir activist and fourth-year student of Urdu department, were beaten up during the clash. They were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital with head injuries.

Teachers of different colleges yesterday held a series of programmes protesting the vandalism of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS, SHIBIR Jamaat's student wing) activist at the residences of the Principal and a teacher of Rangpur Carmichael College. In the meantime, members of civil society and professional bodies formed a human chain and held a meeting at the district press club yesterday protesting the incident The teachers demanded exemplary punishment of the Shibir leaders & activists who went on a rampage at the residences of Carmichael College Principal Dip Chandra Roy & Prof Hafizur Rahman. They also urged the authorities concerned to take actions against the teachers who instigated the Islami Chhatra Shibir activists on Wednesday. The law enforcers arrested 68 Shibir activists at the college dormitories & surrounding area & Police are trying to detain others who were involved in the vandalism.
