BSF kills teenager

Indian Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi teenage boy near Burimari frontier in Patgram upazila early today.
The victim was identified as Hasikul, 16, son of Faniruddin of Amjhol village.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) sources said BSF troops from Changrabanda camp opened fire on Hasikul at about 6:00am while he was going to graze his cattle, leaving him critically injured.
He was rushed to the local health complex were he succumbed to his injuries.
BDR sent a letter to BSF protesting the incident.
Both sides later agreed to hold a flag meeting to defuse tension along the border following the killing.
