[vinnomot] Demand of the war crimes: controversial?

I admit I misjudged the leaders of the sector commanders forum. Though I am not going to backup an inch to the demand of apprehending the criminals to justice who had colaborated with the Pakistani army in genocide, rape and looting. My stand would be the same for any personal(s) whose loyality resides outside Bangladesh and who have engaged in anti people anti Bangladesh activities.

But I have my own reservations about the leadership, who currently have been engaged in such demand. After going through the background of the leaders ( Maj Gen Shafiullah, Air Vice Marshall A K Khandakar, Maj Gen C R Dutta) with their accomplices Shahriar Kabir, Nirmalendu Goon etc, I came to an conclusion that such demand doesnot suit them.

It was Shafiullah, who was the Army chief, when Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was killed in an army coup. Mr Shafiullah was also an elected MP during Awami Leages 2nd tenure in the Govt ( 1996-2001).

A K Khandakar was the chief of airforce. Both Mr Shafiullah and Khandakar of them went to BongoBhobon and had expressed their allegiance to then Mustaq Govt.

Maj Gen C R Dutta was one of the founder of a radical anti Bangladesh party, called " Hindu Boudhdho Kristan Oykko Porishod" who have seriously engaged creating religious divisions among Bangladesh's and producing fake/distorted stories of so called minority oppression to  tarnish Bangladesh's image abroad. They are beleived to be also associated with Swadin Bangabhumi Andolon; a tool of proxy war against Bangladesh by India.

There is no secret about Shahriar Kabir's involvement with the Indian govt, and Nirmalendu Goon's association with the notorious ( now rejected by all) Taslima Nasreen.

All the above personals have one thing in common. Their involvement with with pro Indian Awami Leage who enjoys only 60s seat in the parliament ( according to the last election). Similar perosnals were engaged in the same activities (Ghatok Dalal Nirmul Commitee) before the 1996 elections, to blackmail Jamat into supporting Awami Leage. No wonder, the activities of GhaDaNiC came to an complete hault after Awami leage was elected to the Govt in 1996.

So there is enough reason to doubt the intentions of this few well marked personal demands to try the collaborators of the war criminals.

There are some very good remarks on this issue in the live debate.. So may I request the readers to watch it (link below).

Sincerely

Musfique.
